Normal Boys Surfboard

2025Product Design

A first prototype for “Normal Boys Don’t Trip on LSD,” a Costa Rica-based lifestyle brand explored for my junior-year sustainable design class. The twin-keel fish was shaped from a recycled EPS foam blank and glassed with a plant-based bio-resin, choosing materials with a lower footprint than the standard polyurethane-and-polyester build. Beyond materials, the sustainability argument is longevity: a timeless, durable shape that riders keep for years rather than replace, field-tested here along the mangroves of the Costa Rican coast.
